Mats Hurt..... Cat Grooming is Important

Mats start small but continue to grow.  As the hair sheds it gets mixed in with oils from the skin and existing tangles.  As mats grow the pull the skin and can become entangled with the skin.  This makes removing mats and pelts hard to remove without nicking the skin.  Avoid mats with regular cat grooming every 4 to 8 weeks.
